Laurel Creek Covered Bridge:Another gorgeous covered bridge in West Virginia is the Laurel Creek Covered Bridge near Lillydale in Monroe County.
Carrollton Covered Bridge:The first bridge to start our list is the Carrollton Covered Bridge. This covered bridge is in Barbour County. It’s the third oldest covered bridge in the state.
Dents Run Covered Bridge:The Dents Run Covered Bridge is another small historic wooden covered bridge in West Virginia. It’s also one of the oldest buildings in the state. W.A.
Hokes Mill Covered Bridge:The Hokes Mill Covered Bridge runs across Second Creek. Builders constructed the bridge between 1897 and 1899.
Walkersville Covered Bridge:It’s also 12 feet wide and crosses the Right Fork of the West Fork River. The Walkersville Covered Bridge is near Walkersville in Lewis County.
Staats Mill Covered Bridge:Third on our list is the Staats Mill Covered Bridge near Ripley in Jackson County. This wooden historic covered bridge is beautiful and photogenic.
Fletcher Covered Bridge:It’s a tall and unique bridge that crosses Tenmile Creek. Currently, only two covered bridges remain in Harrison County. The Fletcher Covered Bridge is still in use.
