Actors open up about getting naked on camera

Matt Damon - He played the lover of pianist Liberace, Scott Thorson, in 'Behind The Candelabra.' “Normally I’d say no to nudity, but I just did a lot of it playing the long-term partner of Liberace.

Kim Cattrall- “Nudity has never been an issue for me, in life, it’s been an issue, but on camera, I’m playing a character first of all which is huge—you feel protected because it’s not you,” She said.

Jennifer Lawrence - She said temperature on set was an issue while shooting the scenes in 'Red Sparrow.' “What are you doing with this heat!” Lawrence told the crew. “My niples are going to be huge!” 

Ben Affleck - Ben explained why he embraced the nudity in 'Gone Girl.' “This is a warts and all movie. It can have no vanity. You have to see the naked underbelly of this character,” said the actor.

Jason Segel - The actor has bared it all in the iconic breakup scene in 'Forgetting Sarah Marshall' (2008), which Segel finds utterly funny.

Cameron Diaz - “It’s just a part of the role. So I did it. I mean, you see everything,” said the actress about her naked scene in 'Sex Tape' (2014).

Kate Winslet -
In 2001, the actress stripped off her clothes in 'Iris' and seems to have a pragmatic approach to nudity. “I just go in and say ‘Oh f*** let’s do it’ and boom.

Maggie Gyllenhaal - You might remember the actress' sexy scenes in 'Secretary' (2002). “I am 41 and I’ve spent nearly 20 years doing sex scenes, intimate ones and unusual ones.

Olivia Wilde -
While the actress had no problem with being naked in 'Third Person' (2013), she just didn't like the fact that she had to run with no clothes on. 

Helen Mirren -
Despite her roles in movies such as 'Caligula' (1979), the actress “always hated doing sex scenes, every part of [her] life.”

Ewan McGregor - “Women are always expected to be naked in films, but I like to try and do it so they are not naked—have the women not be naked. It’s a feminist thing that I do," he said.

Richard Gere - The actor recalled his naked scenes in 'American Gigolo' (1980). “If I recall, (the nudity) wasn’t in the script. It was just in the natural process of making the movie."

Daniel Radcliffe -
"I got naked in three films last year, please can I not?” he joked. “At some point, everyone’s going to start assuming I’m an exhibitionist,” the 'Harry Potter' actor added.
