Bands that never changed their lineup

U2 -
Believe it or not, the Irish band has maintained the same lineup ever since its formation in 1976.

Coldplay -
The English group have been together since 1997 and have never changed a member.

Rage Against the Machine -
RATM is one of the most influential bands of the '90s, and their members have remained together through thick and thin. 

Garbage -
The alternative rock outfit has maintained the same lineup since it inception in 1993.

Blur -
The Britpop group were huge in the '90s. Vocalist Damon Albarn, guitarist Graham Coxon, bassist Alex James, and drummer Dave Rowntree have been together since 1988.

Muse -
Formed in 1994 in Teignmouth, Devon, England, the three-piece rock band have maintained the same lineup up to this day. 

The Strokes - The Strokes' lineup remains the same: front man Julian Casablancas, guitarists Nick Valensi and Albert Hammond Jr, bass player Nikolai Fraiture, and drummer Fabrizio Moretti.

Cream -
Since 1966, Cream had always been singer-songwriter and bassist Jack Bruce (1943-2014), guitarist Eric Clapton, and drummer Ginger Baker (1939-2019)

The White Stripes -
It might be easier to keep a band together when there are only two members. Still, Jack White and Meg White did it from 1997 to 2011.

Alter Bridge -
American rockers Alter Bridge have kept the same lineup ever since the band was formed in 2004. 

Gojira -
The French metal band were formed in 1996 and have had the same lineup ever since.

The Wombats -
The English indie rockers formed in 2003 with the same lineup they have today: Matthew Murphy (front man), Tord Øverland Knudsen (bass), and Dan Haggis (drums).
