Famous people who died in August 2023

Bray Wyatt – August 24 - American wrestler Bray Wyatt, died at the age of 36 due to cardiac arrest, caused by complications from COVID-19.

Hersha Parady – August 23 - The 'Little House on the Prairie' actress died in Norfolk, Virginia, shortly after undergoing surgery for a brain tumor.

Toto Cutugno – August 22 - The Italian singer Toto Cutugno, winner of the 1990 Eurovision Song Contest in Zagreb died of prostate cancer at age 80.

Sergey Babkov – August 21 - Former Russian basketball player Sergei Babkov died at the age of 56 from a heart attack.

Ron Cephas Jones – August 19 - At 66 years old, American actor Ron Cephas Jones, winner of two Emmys for his role in the series 'This Is Us', passed away.

Carlo Mazzone–August 19- At the age of 86, the Italian player and coach Carlo Mazzone said goodbye to this world. Even the Italian prime minister Giorgia Meloni took time to say goodbye to 'Carletto.'

Ashlea Albertson – August 18 - American pilot Ashlea Albertson, 24, lost her life in a car accident in Jackson County, Indiana. 

Haruki Noguchi – August 17 - The young promise of Japanese motorcycling died at the age of 22 as the result of an accident he had suffered a few days before at the Mandalika circuit (Indonesia).

Gérard Leclerc – August 15 - The French journalist and television presenter, Gérard Leclerc, lost his life in a small plane that crashed in France. He was 71 years old. 

Chris Peluso – August 15 - The Broadway actor, whom we had seen in works like 'Mamma Mia!' and 'Wicked', died at age 40. 

Alex Collins – August 13 - A motorcycle accident took the life of former National Football League running back Alex Collins, who was only 28 years old.

Clarence Avant – August 13 - The American music executive and film producer who promoted Michael  Jackson among other stars, died at the age of 92.

Sixto Rodríguez – August 8 - The American singer-songwriter Sixto Rodríguez, of Mexican origin, died at the age of 81,

Mark Margolis – August 3 - The American actor Mark Margolis, known for playing Héctor Salamanca in the series 'Breaking Bad', died at the age of 83 in New York, reportedly of cancer.
