How to keep your home smelling splendid

Clean the refrigerator -
Keep on top of anything that may be going bad, as this can make the whole refrigerator stink. Also, clean the interior regularly.

Use baking soda on your carpet -
Put baking soda on your carpet, and ideally let the carpet absorb it overnight. Then vacuum the carpet! This will deodorize it.

Open the windows -
As simple as it sounds, a lot of people forget this, especially in the colder months! It is essential to air out your home to keep it smelling fresh.

Deodorize shoes -
Shoes can carry unpleasant odors, which can then get in the air in your house. Avoid this by occasionally spraying a small amount of dry shampoo in your shoes.

Keep your shower and bath clean -
Regularly wiping down surfaces will prevent mold and keep your bathroom smelling fresh. Try to clean it for a few minutes after each use.

Use cleaning products that smell good - This is a matter of personal taste, but why not buy cleaning products that have whichever fragrance that you like the most!

Use coffee beans -
Filling a small jar with coffee beans, and then placing a tealight candle inside, will create a fantastically fragrant aroma.

Use tomato juice -
Tomatoes can be very effective in removing unpleasant smells from containers, especially plastic ones. Just use tomato juice, and then rinse.

Buy herbs -
For an incredibly aromatic scent, buy herbs such as basil and mint. You can also use them for cooking, of course!

Use oatmeal -
A small quantity of oatmeal in your trash can will be efficient at eliminating odors. But, of course, the trash should still be taken out regularly.
