AI Ava (Alicia Vikander) ends up killing her owner, trapping computer programmer Caleb (Domhnall Gleeson) in her place, and escaping.

'Saw' (2004) -
Villain Jigsaw triumphs against Dr. Lawrence Gordon (Cary Elwes), who basically loses his mind.

'The Dark Knight' (2008) -
Christopher Nolan's 'The Dark Knight' has the late Heath Ledger playing the iconic Joker.

'X-Men: First Class' (2011) -
In this movie, we see the rise of Marvel villain Magneto, aka Erik Lehnsherr (Michael Fassbender).

'Alien: Covenant' (2017) -
Android David (Michael Fassbender) is actually the xenomorph's creator, and ultimately the villain.
