Movies with multiple remakes

'Brewster's Millions' - One of the most remade movies ever, 'Brewster's Millions' has been given the movie treatment seven times.

'Great Expectations' - Based on the 1861 Charles Dickens novel of the same name, 'Great Expectations' has been released four times since its initial cinema outing in 1934.

'Oliver Twist' - A famous 1968 version (pictured) was based on the hit musical 'Oliver!', and there were less celebrated versions in 1922, 1933, 1948, 2005, and 2007.

'The Jungle Book' - There were four subsequent versions, the latest being 2018's 'Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle.'

'Robin Hood' - Robin Hood and his band of Merry Men have entertained cinemagoers a total of six times.

'The Three Musketeers' - First released in 1921, the classic tale of the sword-brandishing trio has been remade many times.

'The Three Musketeers' - Although some of the remakes made little impact at the box office, the 2011 version (pictured) starring Orlando Bloom was a notable exception.

'Dracula' - Bram Stoker's terrifying tale of the blood-sucking vampire has been adapted into endless movie versions since the original 1931 movie (pictured).

'Scrooge' - Movies based on the Charles Dickens novel 'A Christmas Carol' have cropped up over 20 times since the silent movie 'Scrooge' hit cinemas in 1901.

'Scrooge' - Also among the most enduringly-popular adaptations of Dickens' morality tale is 'The Muppet Christmas Carol' (pictured) from 1992.

'Annie' - First released as 'Little Orphan Annie' in 1932, the movie was remade in 1938.

'Treasure Island' - Once again, those loveable Muppets gave their own unique spin on the tale, with the 1996 movie 'Muppet Treasure Island' (pictured).

'King Kong' - Many critics would argue that the epic 1933 original 'King Kong' movie (pictured) is still the best, but there have been many attempts to out-do the iconic movie.
