Sense of freedom - Situationships allow you to enjoy a certain amount of connection and intimacy with another person while still feeling free and independent.

All of the fun, none of the work - As long as both partners are on the same page, it can be a great way to enjoy some of the benefits of being in a relationship.

Lack of stability - It can be stressful to be in a relationship where there’s no consistency or stability.

The mental health impact - If you’re in a situationship and it isn’t working for both of you, it can be detrimental to your mental health.

Low self-worth - This type of situation can be born out of and exacerbate feelings of low self-worth.

Be honest - Even if it’s scary, you need to be honest about your feelings and what your expectations are. Be honest both with yourself and with them.
