IISCO Steel Plant of Steel Authority of India Limited is a coordinated steel plant situated at Burnpur in Asansol, in Asansol subdivision of Paschim Bardhaman locale, West Bengal, India.
IISCO Steel Plant of Steel Authority of India at Burnpur has a rough steel creation limit of 2.5 million tons for every year. Set up in 1918, the Indian Iron and Steel Company, when the banner ship of the Martin Burn gathering, was amalgamated with SAIL in 2006 and renamed IISCO Steel Plant.
Manmohan Singh, Prime Minister, established the framework for the green field modernization and development of IISCO Steel Plant at Burnpur on 24 December 2006. Others present on the event included Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee, boss priest of West Bengal, Ram Vilas Paswan, association serve for synthetic concoctions and composts and steel, and Priya Ranjan Dasmunsi, association serve for data and broadcasting.
