Kota Super Thermal Power Station (KSTPS). In a thermal power station, heat energy is converted into electrical power. It is also used for industrial purpose or desalination of water along with electrical power generation. In Kota, Rajasthan a thermal power station named Kota Super Thermal Power Station (KSTPS) have been installed on the west bank of the Chambal River in Kota. The date of commission of Kota Super Thermal Power Station is 1983. It has a total of seven operational units. It is featured with a control room, boiler generator turbine assembly, fully automated control room, fire station, pump for water circulation, etc.
