It is set up in the year 1982 for mainly to deal with the purposes of scientific, educational and IT Industry Promotion. Manufacturer’s Association of Information Technology has become prominent as an effective, influential and dynamic organization. It also represents Hardware, Training, R&D & Hardware Design and other services which are associated with segments of the Indian IT Industry. There might be a question in your mind that who can be a member of MAIT? The answer to the question is there are various firm, organization, and the company which can become members when they fulfill eligibility criteria. The organizations who can be member such as Proprietary firm, Partnership firm, Limited Liability Partnership firm, Public Limited Company, Private Limited Company, One Man Company, Corporation or Body Corporate, Co-Operative Societies or Associations that are registered under the relevant State Act and their primary aim is to include any one or more of the activities that should be considered to become the member.
