An MBBS or Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery is the basic and most famous undergraduate medical degree which is pursued in India because it opens various other ways and allows an individual to go on to get a Masters degree in a large number of specializations such as General Medicine, General Surgery, Orthopedics, Radio-diagnosis, Radiotherapy, Obstetrics and Gynecology and many more. It is really hard to get admission in the MBBS and that is the reason for extreme competition for getting admission it. The duration of this medical program course is on average 5 and a half years, from which the first 3 semesters, lasting 18 months each, are needed to spend on classes, whereas the last year is dedicated to the rotating internship which is compulsory. The fee of MBBS varies as it depends on the college or university. The students who are from out of India they have different fee structure as compare to who are Indian.
