MI- Military Intelligence
Military intelligence is a discipline of the military which utilizes the collected information and investigation ways to deal with give direction and these directions or instruction helps to assist commanders in their decisions making. This aim can be accomplished by providing an assessment of data and information from a wide range of sources, directed towards the mission requirements of commanders or reverting to the questions as a major aspect of operational or planning of the campaign. For an analysis purpose, the information requirements of commander are first identified and distinguished, which are then further incorporated into intelligence collection, investigation, and dissemination.
These areas of study may incorporate such as the operational environment, hostile, friendly and non-military personnel populace in a region of a battle task, and other broader areas of interest. Activities related to intelligence are conducted at all levels such as from tactical to strategic, in peacetime, the period of transition to war, and amid a war itself.
