MNLF – Moro National Liberation Front
The Moro National Liberation Front or MNLF is a political organization or company which is situated in the Philippines and it was established in 1972. This organization has begun as a splinter group of the Muslim Independence Movement. The MNLF was the main association among Moro separatists for around two decades starting from the year of the 1970s. In the year 1996, the MNLF consented to a landmark peace agreement with the government of Philippine that saw the formation of Autonomous Region of Muslim Mindanao or ARMM, a region made out of two territory regions and three island regions in which the overwhelming population which is full of Muslim, enjoys a level of self-rule. Nur Misuari was introduced as the governor of the region however his rule ended in violence when he led drove a fizzled insubordination to the government of Philippine in the month of November in the year 2001 and fled to Sabah before being extradited back to the Philippines by the Malaysian authorities.
