MTCR – Missile Technology Control Regime
The Missile Technology Control Regime or MTCR is a multilateral export control regime. It is a casual and voluntary partnership which is among 35 countries to prevent the proliferation of missile and unmanned ethereal vehicle technology equipped for conveying above 500 kg payloads which will be more than 300 km.
The MTCR was set up in the month of April in 1987 by the innovative techniques by the G7 countries which are Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom, and the United States of America as well. The MTCR was made with the end goal to check the spread of unmanned conveyance system for atomic weapons, particularly delivery systems that could convey a payload of 500 kg for a separation distance of 300 km. At the yearly gathering in Oslo which is in between 29 June to 2 July 1992 and it is led by Mr. Sten Lundbo.
