RFMF:- Republic of Fiji Military Forces
RFMF stands for Republic of Fiji Military Forces. It is the military force of the Pacific island nation of Fiji. It has a total manpower of 3,500 active soldiers and 6,000 reservists. It is said to be one of the smallest militarist in the world. Although, most of its surrounding island nations have no militarist at all. The Ground Force of Republic of Fiji Military Forces is organized into six infantry battalions and one engineer battalion. It has approximately 6,000 reserves. For, there existed a “Zulu” company of counter-revolutionary specialists. However, it was deactivated in the late 2000s because of a mutiny by some of its members. The service branches of Republic of Fiji Military Forces include Fiji Infantry Regiment and Fijian Navy. It is headquartered in Suva. The RFMF contributes a total of 2.9% to it’s Gross Domestic Product or GDP.
