- The link is clicked, leaving the current page.
- Forward or back button is used.
- The new URL is typed in the address bar.
- The browser window is closed.
- The page is reloaded.
Syntax:
To trigger the unload event for selected elements.
$(selector).unload()
To add a function to the unload event.
$(selector).unload(function)
Function:
- It is an optional parameter.
- The function parameter specifies the function to run when the event occurs.
