NFIW:- National Federation of Indian Women

NFIW stands for National Federation of Indian Women is a women’s organization that has been playing an important role in the direction and mobilizing of women for the betterment of women and children and for building a society and a country which promotes gender equality. It was established in the year 1954. Aruna Asaf Ali was the founder of NFIW. The establishment was done, several leaders. These leaders were from Mahila Atma Raksha Samiti including Aruna Asaf Ali. It is a pan India campaign. It is led by women to spread the message of​ harmony, tolerance​, peace, and love. It also aims to safeguard the constitutional rights of the women. In a country like India where a lot of people discriminate on the basis of sex, NFIW turned in a thought changing organization. Over the years, it has not only spread awareness but also changed minds. National Federation of Indian Women is located in Mandi House, New Delhi.
