The headquarters of the People’s Liberation Organization of Tamil Eelam are located in 16 Haig Road, Bambalapitiya, Colombo 4.The People’s Liberation on Organization of Tamil Eelam was founded by an ex-surveyor, Uma Maheswaran alias Mukundan, who later became its general secretary. The leader of it’s is D. Siddharthan. People’s Liberation Organization of Tamil Eelam, its political wing is known as the Democratic People’s Liberation Front.
