SMART:- Small Mission for Advanced Research
The full form of SMART stands for Small Mission for Advanced Research. The Swedish were really developing their space technology by designing European Space Agency Satellite that orbited around the moon, which is now called the Small Mission for Advanced Research, SMART. The Small Mission for Advanced Research was a type of a mission like technology lunar orbiter. ESA was the operator of the Small Mission for Advanced Research. The mission exactly lasted for 2 years, 11 months, 6 days, 6 hours, 27 minutes and 36 seconds. The Small Mission for Advanced Research was manufactured by the Swedish Space Corporation. The mission started on 27th of September 2003 when it was launched by the rocket Ariane 56 through the launch site Arianespace. And the mission ended on 3rd September 2006. The European Space Agency as they wanted to develop their space technologies so they came up with a small mission meant for more advanced research, a Satellite which orbited around the moon, as stated on the name itself, Small Mission for Advanced Research
