STPI:- Software Technology Park of India
The full form of STPI stands for Software Technology Park of India. The Software Technology Park of India was formed in the year 1991. The headquarters of the Software Technology Park of India is located in New Delhi. The Software Technology Park of India is located all over India. Dr. Omkar Rai is the Director General of the Software Technology Park of India. Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology is the parent organization of the Software Technology Park of India. Encouraging, promoting and boosting the export of software in India were the main motives of the Software Technology Park of India. Under the STP scheme, 106 new units were registered during the years of 2014 – 2015, further on March 31, 2015, 3124 units were found operative out of the 2832 units which were actually exporting. The Software Technology Park of India is gradually trying to develop the field of software on India.
